Middle School Spanish
Learn Spanish through kinetic, visual, and auditory teaching styles!
Taught by Upper School Spanish Teacher, Merinda Zywicz, Middle School Spanish Club participants will learn through a combination of kinetic, visual and auditory teaching styles. This offering is designed for 6th to 8th graders who are new to or have some experience speaking. Vocabulary and grammar from each club session will be shared electronically for at home Spanish writing and grammar practice and repetition. This club is offered in consecutive six week learning blocks – Block #1 begins on Friday, October 2nd.
Instructor: Merinda Zywicz began instructing Spanish program at TEA in Spring ‘19. She studied international development at UC Berkeley with a focus on Latin America. Merinda previously worked in Chile with the Committee of Flora and Fauna of Chile and in Costa Rica with a cultural exchange program for high schoolers. Merinda developed her Spanish fluency from her time residing in Spanish language countries and with formal, traditional classroom education.
Who: Designed for 6th to 8th graders who are new to or have some experience speaking Spanish.
When: Fridays from 3:00pm – 4:15pm.

Capacity: This club is limited to 15 participants.
Cost: $175 per student, per 6 week course (includes all materials).
