Disc Golf is a fast growing and easily socially distanced activity!
Disc Golf Club is one of the newest club offerings for 6th – 12th grade students. Designed for new to intermediate disc golf players, this offering will be held at nearby Tahoe and Truckee disc golf courses. Participants will learn the dynamics of disc flight, how to drive (throw) a disc flat, on hyzer and anhyzer. As well as how to throw mid range shots and the putting keys. The rules of disc golf, course management and the meaning of terms like Hyzer, Anhyzer, Turnover, Over-stable will be taught though out each session.
Who: Designed for girls and boys student-athletes. Split into the below cohorts:
- 6th – 8th grade
- 9th – 12th grade
When: Wednesday from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. Disc Golf Club runs for 6 weeks. Click the calendar links below for specific dates.
