Devo Biathlon Team
Our Devo Biathlon Team is a prerequisite to our Advanced Biathlon Team.
The TEA Devo Biathlon team is designed for 6th – 12th grade student-athletes new to skate skiing and biathlon training. Training will focus heavily on the how tos of skate skiing. Participants will not train with rifles. However participants, when ready and able, can register for Biathlon Races to get a taste of biathlon racing and competition.
Details
Who: Devo Biathlon TEAm is available to 6th – 12th-grade student-athletes.
Where: Training will take place at Tahoe Donner XC in Truckee, CA.
When: January to March, we will practice in December if trails open.
Coaches: Carolyn Highland, Shelley Bolen, Alex Peugnet and other coaches TBA.
TEAm Size: ~25 student-athletes.
Equipment Rental: Devo Biathlon athletes skate-ski all winter. If your child doesn’t have their own set (very common) you can rent thru Alpenglow Sports in Tahoe City, or elsewhere.
