Ultimate Frisbee

Ultimate Frisbee is a favorite sport among TEA High School Students!

Ultimate frisbee is a fun, challenging and inclusive team sport. It is played in over 65 countries around the world and continues to grow rapidly. In early May the TEAm will compete in the Spaghetti Western Tournament in Stockton, CA – this two day tournament is one of the largest in the Bay Area.

Ultimate Frisbee TEAm Details

Instructors: Nilo Bill, High School Math and Science teacher, played club ultimate frisbee for University of Miami and is a USA Ultimate Certified Coach

Patrick O’Malley, Physical Education teacher, played Ultimate Frisbee at a world class level in Korea.

Who: Girls and boys, 9th – 12th graders. All abilities welcome.

When​: Fall and Spring

  • Fall – Mondays and Wednesdays. Mid October through beginning of December
  • Spring – Mondays and Wednesdays. Mid April through end of May.


Where: Tahoe Expedition Academy @ Martis Valley Campus Field

Limit: 20 student-athletes

Cost​: $125

Materials: Participants are required to bring cleats and athletic clothing for each practice. Please dress for the weather and come prepared to exercise. Bring a snack and water bottle as well.
