Get ready to shine bright and be a part of a beloved Truckee tradition! Celebrate Independence Day with our community by participating in the annual Truckee 4th of July Parade.

Parade Details
The Truckee 4th of July Parade is proudly produced by the Truckee Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Town of Truckee, with logistical support from Big Blue Adventure, LLC. The parade typically kicks off at 10:00 AM, starting near Truckee High School and proceeding down Donner Pass Road into historic downtown Truckee. We'll share final time details soon!

Our Vision for the Parade
Imagine this: Our Middle School/High School Rock Band will be performing on half of a flatbed float, and we're currently brainstorming exciting ideas for the other half! We'll also have our school bus where students can ride along. On-foot participants will be our designated candy throwers, sign holders, and they'll also help cool down spectators.

We Need You!
We're looking for at least 50 volunteers and parade participants—teachers, students and families of all grade levels! This is a fantastic opportunity to show your communiTEA spirit.

Here's how you can help:

• Parade Walkers: Gather your family and friends and join us on foot!
• Squirt Guns: Help us cool off the crowd! You can label your squirt guns for return.
• Flatbed Trailer: Do you have a flatbed trailer we could use to create an awesome float?
• 4th of July Decorations: If you have any extra decorations, please drop them off at the front office.
