Art Club
Visual Arts + Creative Expression
In this offering student-artists will explore visual expression through a variety of art project, focused lessons and varying mediums. Participants will use colored pencils, water color, chalk, acrylic paint, dyes, and clay to create inspired works of art. Crafts will draw inspiration from the their favorite plants, animals, landscapes, and the changing seasons. Participants will create abstract works as well, and deep dive into imaginative free hand drawings, paintings and more.
Thanks to our incredible Art TEAchers over the years this club has become widely popular and sells out quickly. We’re thrilled to have talented artist Sophie Czerwinski each this offering, she is a multi-talented, dedicated and fun teacher.

Who: Designed for Kinder – 5th Graders.
When: Monday sessions run from 3:00 – 4:45pm, for 6 sessions total. Dates are scheduled on the school calendar linked here.

What to Bring: Art supplies will be provided. Please bring a snack and water.
Instructor: Sophie Czerwinski is an avid environmentalist, outdoors person, community wellness worker, artist and yoga instructor. She received a degree in Anthropology and Global Health from Dartmouth College in 2019. Through her travels and connected studies Sophie researched public health interventions, guided backpacking tours, worked as a community health worker in Lesotho, Africa, organized healing arts workshops in Montana, and worked as a mountain biking instructor. Since Spring ’23, Sophie has worked locally as a yoga instructor and also at TEA as a seasonal backcountry guide, summer camp counselor, mountain bike coach and more.
