Learn to Play Lacrosse - The Right Way!
Did you know that 80% of women’s and men’s college lacrosse practices are dedicated to fundamental lacrosse stick work? In this six session series, participants new to intermediate will learn and refine how tos like: Pass and Catch with a Purpose, Shoot on the Run, Step Down and Quick Stick, How to Cut and Dodge and more! Proper mechanics, stick techniques, footwork and fun will be emphasized throughout.
Workouts are specifically designed for our LS cohorts identified below. This is a non-contact, speed version of lacrosse, fundamentals will be highlighted – equipment will be provided on site.
Who: Kindergarten – 5th grade. Split into cohorts K-2 and 3-5.
When: Tuesdays or Thursdays (depending on grade) from 3:00 – 4:45pm, four six sessions. Dates are scheduled on the school calendar linked here.
- Kinder – 2nd grade: Tuesday, beginning September 13.

Where: Tahoe Expedition Academy @ MVEF Campus Field.

Capacity: 15 student per group.
What to Bring: Water bottle, snack, athletic clothes, cleats and a coachable disposition. If your child doesn’t have a lacrosse stick it will be provided.
