Mountain Biking Club

Learn to Ride the Right Way!

With experienced MTB coaches as their guides, student riders will traverse single-track trails in North Lake Tahoe and Truckee. On each outing, riders will learn essential mountain biking skills, including shifting and pedaling techniques, proper body positioning, effective braking, weight transfer, climbing, descending, and more.

Club riders will explore some of the best trails in California, right here in our own backyard – Sawtooth, Happy Face, and Flying Squirrel to name a few! During these Wednesday rides, participants will also develop skills in route finding, bike maintenance, and trail etiquette. This program is a great way to build confidence, enjoy the outdoors with friends, and foster a lifelong passion for mountain biking.

A front-suspension or full-suspension mountain bike in good working condition is required for participation in the Mountain Biking Club. No e-bikes are permitted.
