After School Club

Mountain Biking Club

Learn to Ride with Poise, Confidence and Skill!

Bikers will navigate the single-track trails of the Tahoe Basin and Truckee learning fundamental mountain biking skills from experienced coaches along the way. Riders will learn the all important basics – shifting and pedaling best practices, proper body positioning, weight transfer across obstacles, how to climb, cross and descend challenge-by-choice terrain and much more. Club-riders will explore some of the best trails in California, right here in Truckee-Tahoe. On these Wednesday rides participants will also learn how to route find, keep their bikes in good working condition and learn and demonstrate practical trail etiquette. This is a great way to build confidence, explore the great outdoors with friends and kick off a truly lifelong sport.
