Campus Capital Campaign
This is the most unique opportunity in the history of TEA
We wanted to share some exciting news about recent progress the School has made with the Martis Valley Education Foundation, the current owners of our 42-acre campus. In the Spring of 2024, we announced some incredible news. For the first time, we have the opportunity to purchase our beloved campus and ensure the School’s long-term feasibility for generations to come. In short, this is the most unique opportunity in the history of TEA! Here are the specifics:
- We have officially entered into a signed mutual purchase agreement to buy the Martis Valley Campus in its entirety from the Martis Valley Education Foundation.
- Owning the campus will allow TEA to enhance our children’s experience, providing a second home in a stable, long-term and sustainable environment.
- The original goals of the campus, as a vehicle to our world-class teaching, as a second home for students, faculty, and staff, and as a community resource for the Tahoe Basin, are all possible with this purchase.
- We’re raising $15 million this summer to secure the land and begin planning for the next phase of learning buildings.
- We need everyone’s help to make this a reality – please let either of us know if you have leads or ideas, share our opportunity as much as you can, and keep an eye out for further updates.
Thank you in advance for your enthusiasm and support. This community only exists because of the energy and spirit of our students and all of you. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to any member of the Campus Acquisition and Capital Campaign Committee members below.
