High School Ski TEAm
Slalom and Giant Slalom Ski Racing at its Best!
Back from a long hiatus, our competitive High School Ski TEAm trains and competes in slalom and giant slalom events at local ski resorts like Sugar Bowl, Palisades Tahoe and Northstar, with Championships Races at Mammoth Mountain. Typically, the official California Nevada Interscholastic Ski and Snowboard Federation (CNISSF) race season begins in January and ends with the state championships in March. Races alternate between Sugar Bowl, Palisades Tahoe and Northstar Ski Resorts.
Who: 9th – 12th grade student-athletes
When: January – March
Where: Tahoe Ski Resorts, specifics TBA.
Schedule: Training and race schedules will be announced in late November, after league meetings.
TEAm Size: Designed for four student-athletes or more
Competition: This TEAm will compete locally and abroad in CNISSF sanctioned races. Regular season races typically run on Mondays, these are all day events.
