Nordic TEAm

Ski / Explore XC Trails All Winter Long!

Nordic skiing is a term used to encompass a number of skiing disciplines. Nordic TEAm focuses on two of these disciplines, classic cross country skiing and skate skiing, with a heavy emphasis on the latter. It requires endurance, balance, power and smooth technique, and is widely considered one of the most challenging winter sports there is. Nordic TEAm is one of our biggest and best athletic offerings, and a great way to skill build, explore and compete all winter long at local, and remarkable XC Resorts.

Students new to nordic skiing will learn the fundamentals together in similar ability groups – this is a lifelong pursuit, learning to nordic ski properly takes at least one or two seasons of training. Meanwhile, more experienced athletes will ski up to 10km – 15km per practice, working on endurance and technique throughout. Practices happen at designated cross country ski resorts in Tahoe, each complete with groomed, corduroy trails that twist and wind through the wilderness. Fun, challenging workouts and adventures are certainly on tap for the Winter season!
