Senior +Impact Study: Syrian Refugee Crisis in Greece

Our students are currently in Greece, working shoulder-to-shoulder with aid organizations for the refugees, learning about the problems this community faces, and identifying solutions to these problems.

+Impact Studies are semester-long projects that encourage intensive investigations in areas of choice among student groups. This year, our 12th grade students designed their own +Impact Study with a self-directed focus on the refugee crisis in the Mediterranean.

During each +Impact Study, students complete service learning projects and design authentic final products. Each student conducts associated fieldwork aimed at informing collective final product designs that impact and improve the world at large.

We look forward to seeing them return so we can learn from their experiences and see how they will apply their knowledge to their final projects.
