2021 Millennium Scholarship Recipients

It is with great pleasure that we announce TEA’s 2021 Millennium Scholarship Recipients

Please join us in congratulating TEA seniors Johan Sotelo and Brennan Berg! Both recipients have been awarded $5000 grants in order to offset costs associated with their future endeavors. Johan is off to Stanford University in the fall and Brennan is heading to the University of California, Davis where he will study Aerospace Engineering. We are exceptionally proud of their accomplishments and contributions while at TEA and we are excited to support their next adventure.

For those of you who aren’t aware, TEA’s Millennium Scholarship Program was designed by our Student Council after we received an initial gift from the Community Foundation of Santa Cruz County. The scholarship program was founded on the premise that young people should have the opportunity to continue their education beyond High School, regardless of financial capacity, and that when supported they can make a significant and important difference in the world. Due to an additional gift from the Community Foundation of Santa Cruz County, we will be able to continue offering scholarships to our graduating seniors for several more years.

To learn more about the program and the application process, please review the scholarship guidelines HERE.

We are truly grateful for the Community Foundation of Santa Cruz County’s generosity and beyond thrilled to be able to support the academic dreams of our students.
