High School Students Receive Honorable Mention in National Podcast Challenge
Join Tahoe Expedition Academy’s junior class as they navigate the Civil Rights Movement in Birmingham, Selma, and Montgomery Alabama, speaking with experts and first hand sources along the way.
Join us in congratulating our 11th-Graders who participated in the Selma to Montgomery learning expedition during the fall of 2019. Their work informed the content of this podcast, with each of the students participating in scripting and recording their final entry. There were thousands of entries from the across the country with only the top 10% receiving Honorable Mention.
And we’d like to share an extra special appreciation to Emma Lawson and Grady Boger for their additional script writing, audio production and sound design work to finish the podcast.
